If you were around last week you would have seen that we based all our activities around Pirates and Princesses. This week it was Superheroes Week and we’ve had another action packed week.
As we did last week, we set up a Pinterest board and pinned various activities that we would like to try throughout the week.
One the first things the kids honed in on were the lollipop stick puppets from Messy Little Monsters. We printed out the printable from the website and got to work. All in all we loved the final result.
Laser Obstacle Course
Inspired by our trip to The Rainbow Factory we decided to set up a laser obstacle course in the living room. Unfortunately Dad got involved and before we knew it the entire ground floor was covered in wool ‘lasers’ which made putting the milk away and making tea interesting.
Other Superhero Crafts
Throughout the week we managed to fit in several other superhero crafts including superhero cuffs and some superheroes out of toilet roll tubes.
We also made some cute little superheros using lollipop sticks but didn’t get any pictures.
The Rainbow Factory
We spent another fantastic day at The Rainbow Factory celebrating all things superhero related. You can check out our full review here.
Tropical Butterfly House – Wildlife and Falconry Centre
We also managed to squeeze in a visit to Tropical Butterfly House in Sheffield which is running a superhero themed event all through out the school holidays. You can read all about our day here.
I’d love to hear from you if you have any superhero inspired activities, just comment below.
