My Chaotically Eclectic Life is family and lifestyle blog which focuses on general family life from managing a busy house to spending time having fun and making memories.
In general I write about our ‘Chaotically Eclectic Life’. That could be anything from parenting to relationships, food to family days out, craft activities to fashion and beauty or simply ways to help you keep on top of everything so you home runs smoothly.
Predominantly our posts will feature days out, craft activities, organisation tips, reviews and family fun. We love exploring our local area and finding new places to visit but also enjoy spending time at home, being creative.
I hope to inspire my lovely readers by sharing our finds and makes here on the blog, on Facebook, on Twitter and on Instagram. I am also a self confessed Pinterest addict so will be sharing all this and more over there.
Meet the Family
There are currently four of us in the Chaotically Eclectic Life household.
I’m Debbie, the blogger behind My Chaotically Eclectic Life. In my previous life I was an Office Manager for a Consulting Engineering firm. However after Corey was born gave up the world of work and became a SAHM and general skivvy for the family.
This slowly lead me to the world of blogging where I found my love of writing rekindled.
In additional to writing I also love crafting, planning, reading, food and exploring new places.
In order to indulge in my love of food I’m currently trying to find the motivation to start on yet another weight loss and fitness journey.
My fantastic husband Rik is Batman and rock music loving petrolhead. His classic Mk 2 Ford Escort is his non human baby and he loves nothing more than pottering in his garage or going off for a drive on sunny days.
He has recently branched out into other ‘classic’ Fords and we now have two Ford Cougar’s cluttering the drive.
When he’s not searching for his next car he can be found strumming away on his guitar, watching car restoration programs or sleeping.
Corey is my only son (born January 2012). He is a shy, sensitive, bright and funny boy who loves LEGO, Batman and reading.
Getting him to school can sometimes be a trauma. However, once there he loves learning and has developed an insatiable thirst for knowledge.
Anya is the baby of the family (born February 2014) and is the complete opposite of her brother. She is outgoing and extremely chatty.
She loves anything Disney (especially Minnie Mouse and Frozen), Batman and messy play. Like her brother she loves school and swimming.
As a family we love visiting new places and have recently been to Menorca and Majorca. We regularly visit local attractions and are always on the look out for new places to visit.
In addition to the above, every now and again I may mention my eldest daughter Olivia. Olivia has recently moved out and is currently enjoying the freedom (and additional work) that comes with being independent. In addition to this she had just started her second year of a Law degree at University. She is an amazing young lady who loves travelling and, like her mum, is a bit of a stationery junkie!
