This year is whizzing by as we say goodbye to yet another month. We’re now over half way through the year and before you know it we’ll be talking about Christmas and our goals for 2018. However, since I’ve still got some big goals to achieve before then I thought I would share with you my July goals.
* Draft/schedule blog posts for August
* Finalise blog planner setup
One of the reasons I had decided to take a break from my blog was overwhelm. I didn’t have a plan in place for working on it and it took it toll. This time around I am going to make sure I have a daily schedule and a set of goals that I can utilise to stay on top of all things blog related.
I have recently completed my 90 day blog goals after following a Facebook Live with Aby Moore of You Baby Me Mummy.
I already have my blog posts for the next couple of months mapped out in draft. I’m hoping, by sticking to my schedule, I can get as many as possible ready to be published, especially since the school holidays are looming and I won’t have as much time available.
* Clean and declutter all downstairs areas
* Setup a home office/craft space
July is going to be deep cleaning month for me. I had considered attempting to get the house totally blitzed before the kids break up from school so that I can enjoy spending some time with them. However, considering the clutter we’ve managed to accumulate, I’m not sure how feasible that is. I’m not ready to admit defeat just yet so my plan is to declutter and deep clean the downstairs as that is where we spend most of our time.
I also need to get an office/craft space set up somewhere so I have space to spread out when I’m working on my blog/crafting etc. I’m thinking about repurposing the kids playroom as they never use it.
* Lose at least ½ stone
* Exercise for at least 20 minutes 3 x week
My main personal goal is to make a big effort with my weightloss and healthy eating plan. I mentioned last week that my clothes were beginning to get a little tight and have made a plan as to how to deal with it. Hopefully with that in place I will be able to achieve my goals.
* Plan some activities for summer holidays
Having the kids at home 24/7 is a recipe for disaster so I’m going to try and get some ideas together so they don’t get too bored and I don’t go crazy.
My eldest is hoping to move out to her own flat in August. However before then there will probably be a long list of things she wants help with.
I hope I’ve not taken too much on, but I’m a big believer in go big or go home. Let’s see if I can do it.
What to you think about my July goals? Am I taking too much on?
